WHAT AN EVENING??!!??

Guess what? Yesterday evening was the most memorable evening in my life....!! I met my favourite writer....Mr.Chetan Bhagat.He was totally cool, down to earth and friendly!
And what more? I actually got a..no no 2 pics clicked for me! Wow..the first pic ..lol you could count all my teeth showing..and the second pic..you could count both mine and Chetan's teeth! Lol yeah! In the one to one session I got up and asked about the rat race for IIT in our country. Everybody wanted to go to IIT for their GRADUATION and no other college is preferred. I asked him if it was worth running in the rat race..and more over will it be worth it if I got into it?
And after that all I did was stare at him. What a MAN! He was very friendly and obviously chilled. And then he said something and I blushed and I sat down. HEY wait a min! yeah! I was staring hard at him that I didn't really concentrate on what he was telling me. Later when my friend cornered me and told me what exactly he told ..I was head over heels!

First he gave me a ARE-YOU-ALSO-TRYING-FOR-IIT look, and then he said “you? Oh no! you are too pretty for IIT!”
I was OH MY GOD! Totally blushing..actually I did'nt understand what he meant by that. After that he explained about his book, how his wife was so helpful..and how cute his little kids were. And then came the book signing and photo taking session. I mean wow man!! He actually asked some guy to meet me…and advice me on how to actually get into IIT and how much fun you’ll have in IIT. And that guy was Nitin (I don’t know him!) and I asked him if that guy was a “bhaiyya” he said “Oh no! He’s a boy friend material! In fact he was complaining that there was nobody like NEHA for him in there. So I thought I’d tell you!” and there you go made me blush again! Damn! He’s a professional at this! (OK this meant nothing!) And next when two of my friends together took a pic with me..they pushed me to the corner and I complained. Then Chetan bhagat was like “Oye! Koi baat nahi (not a problem!) I’ll put my hand over your head” Now imagine that!! WOW!!!

And I waited in the queue for my pic, wow…!! But  he actually did’nt look at the camera when the photo was taken. And then I went back to him to get the photo autographed (what a maniac I am!!) and he told “hi again!”
“can I get my pic autographed..i mean our pic..!”
“sure! Anyway did you meet your boyfriend? He was right here! Oh we missed him again!”
“OK! Haahahaha…I’ll meet him definitely then!”

He turns the photo’s backside and finds he’s not looking at the camera when the pic was taken. He almost tore that picture and I grabbed it from him! “Let’s take another one! I am hardly looking at that camera guy!”
“ok.” (and then I got a nice sideways hug from him! And lol)
“wow! nice pose!" I heard someone from behind say.

And that was it! He stroked my head and said all the best and take care! That was how my meeting with CHETAN BHAGAT ended. And yeah not to forget the marker thing. THANK GOD IT WAS’NT A PERMANENT MARKER!

But seriously...it was a great time. Sanchita came along and guess what she did? She pulled his cheeks and he was like “Oh god! I’ve gotta be careful with Hyderabad's girls!”

He was such a different person. I totally liked him. And that evening was the best evening of my life till today. Imagine you spent your evening in company with your favorite person?? Can’t resist right? I know. I came home excited and I will be getting my pictures now. Asked a guy who stays closer to my place to collect it for me. And he did lol! Anyway…Chetan you rock! We’ll love you and your books forever! It was an amazing experience meeting you and I’ll make sure I’ll attend to all your book launches in my city! We Love you!!
